Frank was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pa. Joined the Air Force in his senior year of High School he became an aircraft mechanic on F4 Phantom. He later became a flight engineer on the C-141A and B model aircraft, responsible for systems performance and really enjoyed seeing the world. Received his Flight engineers certificate studying the Boeing 727 systems and his check ride in the C-141A. Career wise, Frank was a systems engineer with Northrop Grumman on Hill AFB for 27 years working with the Minuteman III weapon system.
Frank joined the Air Forces Korea Aero Club and his first solo was in Kunsan, Korea in July 1977 were he was stationed for a year. Graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in 1986 in Prescott Arizona were he received his flight instructor ratings. Returned to the Ogden, Utah area teaching at various FBOs over the years and joined the Hill Flying club in 1992. |
